The VisSim/SIMULINK Translator allows
SIMULINK users to import SIMULINK V2, V3, V4 or V5 block diagrams
directly into VisSim. The translator automatically converts SIMULINK
blocks into equivalent VisSim blocks. The SIMULINK block diagram
structure, logic and connectivity is completely maintained in the
translated VisSim block diagram.
VisSim version 4.0 or newer is required
A simple wizard interface makes it easy to
select and translate SIMULINK files. A log file is automatically
generated for each translation making it easy to trace any exceptions.
Statistics are also provided for the number of VisSim blocks created,
partially converted blocks or unsupported blocks (if any). Additionally,
look-up tables encountered during the translation are automatically
converted to equivalent VisSim map blocks. In the event the translated
SIMULINK model uses external MATLAB®
scripts, VisSim will automatically invoke MATLAB and execute the MATLAB
script prior to running the VisSim simulation.
